• Replace “New” menu with “Create” in Document libraries Our customer needed to control the process by which users created new documents in a library. The “New” function in SharePoint only creates the document when the user saves the file in the client application, e.g. Microsoft Word. The “Create” feature we developed creates the document with using a pre-defined naming convention and then opens the file.

• Rating Field Our customer required a visual indication of the quality and relevance of each document in a document library. We developed a custom field that allowed documents to be rated between “0” and “5” and displayed the rating using stars.
